- Ann Marie Brambo, 77, died Sunday, October 1, 2017 doing what she loved, cooking dinner for her family.
Ann was born and raised in Missoula County to “Mike” and Charlie Kolppa. She graduated from Missoula County High School. Ann and Harold “Red” married in 1959, in Missoula where they raised 3 wonderful children, Shelley, Russell and Timothy. She loved her family, was a great homemaker, and was known as the “cookie mom” of the neighborhood. “Red” and Ann loved to go dancing, go kart racing, golfing, skeet shooting and bowling. Family camping trips were always an adventure. She did not let anything stop her, wallpaper queen and excellent cook. She was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, caregiver and grandmother. We are going to miss the little powerhouse with unending energy.
Preceded in death by parents; sister, Marion Armstrong; brother, Charles “Butch” Kolppa; brother-in-law James Burk; husband, Harold “Red”; and son-in-law Reiner Gellrich. She is survived by her daughter, Shelley Gellrich; sons, Russell (Mary) Brambo and Timothy (Linda) Brambo; grandchildren, McKenzie, Madison, Blakeley Brambo, Taylor(Nikki) Brambo and Abigail Gellrich; great grandson, Blake Brambo; sister, Karen Burk; sister-in-law, Bev Cone; her dog Roux; several nieces and nephews, and friends. We love you.
