Anita Vivian Stocker passed peacefully June 22, 2018. Born on May 15, 1932 in Mount Vernon Missouri. Anita is preceded in death by her parents, Raye and Herman Norton, her sisters Sandy (Sue) and Pat, her brothers Arnold and Herman Jr, and loving husband Alvin of 56 years. Anita is survived by her sister Letha; three children William (Georgi), Alita (Les), and Douglas (Jamie); four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Anita moved to Pocatello Idaho at age 15 when her father relocated with the Railroad then stayed in the Rocky Mountains when her family moved back to Missouri. While working at the hospital in Dillon MT, Anita met her loving husband Alvin, an EMT driver. Anita was known for her caring nature, she lived for giving to others whether to her own family, her church, or her neighbors. Her family fondly remembers her monkey bread, canning, crafting, tending to her roses, and cheering ever so loudly at sports events. Anita’s service will be held on Friday, June 29th at 2:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3026 South Avenue, Missoula. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Foundation for Community Heath, 2831 Fort Missoula Rd, Suite 103, Missoula, MT 59804, EIN 36-3627205.
