Obituary for Angie D. Adams

Angie Kober Adams passed away peacefully at her home in Missoula on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. She had spent the past 10 years battling cancer that she fought courageously and with all her heart.

Angie was born June 17, 1968, in Bozeman to Jerry and Doris Kober. She graduated from Bozeman High School and Montana State University. Angie married Earle Adams in 1993. They had three beautiful daughters.

Angie's short life was spent caring for her family, volunteering at her children's schools, and being a dedicated supporter and volunteer in the school's music programs. She couldn't have been happier to attend one last concert at the University of Montana in which a song was composed for her and the concert dedicated to her and her family. She loved the outdoors – fishing that special spot with her dad and winters spent skiing with her friends and family at Bridger Bowl.

Angie is survived by her husband, Earle Adams; their daughters, Olivia, Serena and Gabriella; parents, Jerry and Doris Kober; sister, Brenda (Kober) Baker; brother-in-law, Dan Baker, and nephews, Jacob, Elijah and Ian Baker; father and mother-in-law, Earle G. and Genevieve Adams of Owensboro, Kentucky; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Ellen Kober and Lyman and Marie Secora; and an infant sister.

Angie's wishes were for a private family gathering. She will return back to the Bridger Mountains that she loved and found so peaceful.

In lieu of flowers, an educational fund has been set up for her daughters by the UM Chemistry Department. Donations can be sent to Missoula Federal Credit Union, Angie Denise Adams Memorial Account, 3600 Brooks St., Missoula, MT 59801

Angie loved life and loved her family. She was a great example to remind us all to do the same.
