Andrew Fortunati

May 27, 1977 — August 13, 2024

Andrew Fortunati, 47, passed away in August 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, adventure, and service. Andrew was a devoted father to his three children, a cherished brother to his two brothers and three sisters, and a friend to many. Born with a passion for exploration, Andrew spent his life seeking out new experiences and embracing the beauty of the world around him. Whether it was camping under the stars, hiking through the wilderness, or immersing himself in the arts, Andrew found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His adventurous spirit led him to serve in the Navy, where he traveled the globe, embracing diverse cultures and landscapes. Andrew’s time in the Navy was not just a career but a journey that shaped his view of the world and deepened his appreciation for the people and places he encountered. Andrew’s life was marked by his love for his family and his dedication to making the most of every moment. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Andrew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anne and Thomas Rohan, George and Sybil Smith, and his uncle, Denis Rohan. He will be forever held in the hearts of his children, Rohan, Harrison, and Elizabeth Fortunati; his parents, Scott and Denise Rohan-Smith; and his siblings, Melia Fortunati, Morgan Rohan-Smith, Kathryn Rohan-Smith (Joseph Caldwell), Aidan Fortunati and Dr. Alisa Rutherford-Fortunati (Mike Shaw) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
