Andrew Barry

Andrew Scott Barry, 23, unexpectedly passed away on February 15, 2025. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Garden City Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com.

Andrew was born March 21, 2001 at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, Ca to Matthew Barry and Stacy Kampka. In 2005, he moved to South Weber and Harrisville, UT. where he spent his elementary and middle school years bull riding. He rode his first bull at nine years old. He also participated in football, soccer, wrestling, and basketball. In 2016, he moved to Florence, Mt. He spent his high school career with his best friends Sam Wicker, Mckyle Elias, Harvey Blake, Drew Neisinger, and Ramey Meinzen. During those years they left their mark all throughout The Bitterroot Valley.

He graduated from Florence High School in 2019, and continued his education at the Southeast Lineman Training Center in Georgia, where he was pursuing a career as a lineman. He graduated at the top of his class. He was working as a highly skilled Drywaller.

Andrew could often be found working on projects in the garage with his dad. For the last few months, Andrew has been assembling his gun with his dad and his Uncle Scott. Andrew was often described as adventurous. He enjoyed being out in nature shooting guns, fishing, and shooting his compound bow among having wild adventures in the woods with his family and friends. Andrew enjoyed cooking his versions of gourmet meals for his family which included smash burgers, Hawaiian sandwiches, and hot dogs.

Anybody that knew Andrew knows that he was extremely intelligent. Andrew was quick-witted and learned new things very fast. Andrew loved to tackle new projects head on and enjoyed learning how to do many different things. When Andrew was not working on projects, he spent his nights playing video games with his younger brothers David Barry and Ryker Brewer.

If Andrew wasn’t doing any of his hobbies, you would find him with him with his little sister Alivia Barry. They enjoyed going on weekly dinner dates at their favorite restaurants Buffalo Wild Wings and Texas Roadhouse. Being only eleven months apart, Andrew and Alivia caused a lot of trouble growing up. Andrew took his role as a big brother seriously. He loved to protect and tease all of his siblings. You knew Andrew was home when you could hear all the kids hollering.

Throughout his life, Andrew made a positive impact on the lives of many, helping others reach their full potential. We will all miss you dearly, but are happy you are home!

Andrew is survived by his parents, Stacy (Ben) Kampka, Matthew (Ro) Barry; Siblings Alivia Barry, Izzy Kampka, Ryker Brewer, David Barry& Mckenna Kampka; Great Grandma Phylis Clevidence; Grandparents Jan Grenfell, Herb and Carol Barry; Aunts and Uncles Melissa (Scott) Bestram, Dana (Steve) Jenkins, Chris Grenfell; Cousins Joseph (Kaiya) Harris, December Jackson, Avelyn Bestram, Bridger Ament, Hunter Ament, Denver Jenkins, Logan Grenfell, Hudson Grenfell.

He was preceded in death by his Grandpa, Roger Grenfell.
