Anatoly A. Vasilenko

Anatoly Vasilenko, 41, of Missoula passed away Monday, November 6, 2023.  A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2023 at Garden City Funeral Home.  A funeral service will start at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2023 at Garden City Funeral Home followed by burial in the Missoula City Cemetery.  Online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com

Anatoly Vasilenko, son of Aleksander and Lubov (Pasyuk) Vasilenko, was born December 9, 1981 in Osipovichi, Belarus.  The family immigrated to the United States in 1995.  Anatoly graduated from Hellgate High School and enlisted in the Marines.  After being honorably discharged, he continued his education at the University of Montana obtaining a bachelor's degree.  Anatoly was married and had three children; the couple later separated.

Anatoly worked as an electrician for most of his working career, for various companies and later for himself.  He loved the Montana wilderness and enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing and hiking.  Anatoly was a devoted father, son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lubov Vasilenko; siblings, Yuri Vasilenko, Olga (Mathew) Difort; Julie Vasilenko; children, Anastacia, Aleksander and Andrei Vasilenko; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Anatoly was preceded in death by his father Aleksander Vasilenko.
