Albert Lewis "Pat" Wilhelm

Albert Lewis "Pat" Wilhelm, 75, of Seeley Lake, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at home after a valiant battle with cancer.
Pat was born on March 17, 1938, in Portland, Oregon, to Ellis and Mary Katherine Wilhelm. He was raised mostly in the Swan Valley where his parents helped manage the Holland Lake Lodge.
After graduating high school, Pat moved back to the Portland area where he served as a Portland police officer for nine years. He then worked as a welder and later as a safety supervisor for about 25 years. After moving back to the Polson and then the Seeley Lake areas, Pat worked for the Polson and Missoula ACE hardware stores up to May of 2013.
Pat's hobbies included fishing, working around their property, fishing, and did we mention he liked fishing?!!
Pat was very loved and adored by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Wilhelm, of Seeley Lake; two sons and one daughter and their families, Jeff Wilhelm of Hillsboro, OR; Robert Swartz of Houston, TX; and Cathy Hendrix of Creswell, OR; and six grandchildren.
Memorial service is to be scheduled for sometime in the spring.
