Adeline Trowbridge, 72, of Missoula, passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Community Medical Center of natural causes. Adeline was born Feb. 12, 1941, to Edwin and Hertha Pastian in North Dakota. As a young girl, she and her family moved to Missoula where Adeline graduated from Missoula County High School in 1959. Shortly after graduating, she met and married her husband Floyd Duane Trowbridge. She worked for 30 years in long-term health care. Throughout her life she enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting. She loved camping, traveling and caring for her family.
Adeline was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was generous and caring. She enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. She was preceded in death by her parents. Adeline is survived by her husband of 53 years, Floyd Duane Trowbridge; daughter Laura Trowbridge; son Leroy Trowbridge (Marci); her grandchildren, Heather Flint (Kyle), Rachael Trowbridge (Ethan), Jake Trowbridge and her three great-granddaughters as well as her brothers, Harry Pastian (Miriam), Marvin Pastian (Vivian) and her sister Mary Lou Olbu. She is also survived by her beloved dogs Brittany, Ellie Mae and Ivan.
Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow.
