Ann was born in Iwakuni, Japan, on September 2, 1960, to Wilbur and Gloria Sanders. A longtime Missoula resident, she graduated from Sentinel High School. She attended the University of Montana where she was a Drama major and model. While at UM, she met and married the true love of her life, Mike Hagen. They spent their early years in Michigan and Texas, before returning to Missoula to raise their family. She was involved in Ministry and traveled the world with Mike, ministering alongside him. She was just as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She loved God, life, laughter, family, and friends. She was a passionate photographer and spent hours on her favorite subject: Montana wildlife. Ann had a deep love for her country. She was the proud mother and sister to four members of the United States Armed Forces.
Ann is survived by her children and their spouses: Michael and Allison Hagen, Joshua and Sarah Hagen, Lindsi and Mark Rodriguez. Her siblings: Steven Sanders and his wife, Janice, Benjamin Sanders and his wife, Tawni. Her grandchildren: Camron, Marcus, Alexis, Gabriel, Karlee, Natalia, Rheanna, Emilee, Orion, Nadalie, Beau, Lleyton, and Isabella. As well as beloved extended family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mike, and her parents, Bill and Glory.
Funeral services will be held at Clark Fork City Church (2811 Latimer Street, Missoula, Montana) on Saturday, August 13, at 11:00 a.m. Dr. Joel Caldwell and Pastor Josh Yakos will be officiating. The Burial will follow at Missoula Cemetary (2000 Cemetary Road).
