Christine Taylor
Christine M. Taylor, 64, passed away at St. Patrick Hospital on January 6, 2018. Christine was born on December 18, 1953 to Charles and Dorothy Hanson in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1972 and then attended the University of Montana, where she was active as a cheerleader, was Homecoming Queen, and was a member of Delta Gamma. She studied wildlife management, counseling, and received her teaching endorsement. Later, she received a special education endorsement.

Christine taught and coached in Victor, Frazer, Boulder, Union (Oregon), Missoula, Clinton, and St. Ignatius. She married her husband, James Taylor, on July 19, 1986.

She loved to spend time at the family cabin at Seeley Lake, and was an avid Griz and Packers fan.

Christine is preceded in death by both of her parents; father-in-law, Howard Taylor, and sister-in-law, Teri Taylor.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; children: Brandon (Christina Shak), Joscelyn (Mike Crane), and Brent (Jesse Gosselin); grandsons: Kaleb and Dylan; mother-in-law, Artha Taylor; brothers-in-law: Dale and Mike (Laura); and her beloved dog, Henry. She is also survived by many relatives in Wisconsin and Indiana.

Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Team Up Montana, the local Humane Society, or a children’s charity of your choice. To leave condolences for the family, visit www.gardencityfh.com.
