Condolence From: Steve Potts
Condolence: I was lucky enough to be a teammate of Chick on his over 45 softball league team (Gateway CU). Chick was one of a kind. His love of the game and his smiling face and exuberance and optimism rubbed off on all his teammates. He set a great example for good sportsmanship. Chick never had a bad word for anyone. He will be sorely missed. I do hope however that Chick learns to hit to the opposite field in the hereafter.

Condolence From: Ray Nichols
Condolence: I first met Chick while working as an engineer at St. Patrick hospital and Chick was working in central processing. I loved talking baseball with him. I later joined the +45 league playing with my brother and friends on the KT's Hayloft team. Whenever I ran into Chick he always had a big smile and a hug for me. What a truly happy and pleasant person.He will be sorely missed by all of the players in our league.
Swing a big bat up there buddy!!
